Founded in 1974 as a service enterprise, DREHTAINER can look back to a long-term experience and expertise in the area of container and vehicle technology.

 

Since the end of 1982, DREHTAINER has been developing and manufacturing special containers and vehicles in the fields of military defense, nuclear power technology and industry.

Since 1999 alone, about 3,500 special containers for the Bundeswehr and some 2,000 in part highly protected items have been produced for the Netherlands, Australia, Canada, the Bundeswehr and Switzerland (e.g. military operation centers, command posts, observation towers, police stations, alarm posts, modular hospitals).

 

The shock-free „multi-role platform“ protects reliably against extreme blast and IED impacts by its unique physical man-machine decoupling. The system is employed in armoured vehicles and mobile containers such as Armored Personnel Carriers and MEDEVAC transport vehicles.

 

The new MFD Modular Flexible Drive System consists of platform-based standard high-protection modules with or without transparent surfaces.

 

Development and production of complete stretcher systems for vehicles and containers, MedEvacs as well as complete medical vehicle equipments round off the range of military products.

 

DREHTAINER supplies lifting equipment complying with KTA 4.3 requirements as well as shielded containers with an empty weight of up to 165 t to operators of nuclear power plants.

 

DREHTAINER has a production area of approx. 11,500 sqm and can additionally rely on a network of sub-contractors in case of production peaks.

 

Due to its comprehensive and profound know-how as well as its manageable staff size the DREHTAINER team is able to recognize in time and/or respond quickly to every customer demand.
